Obituary for Faye Ann Schoonover (Loy)
Faye Ann Schoonover, 75, of Sardis, OH passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 17, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Faye was born in New Martinsville, WV on October 11, 1947, daughter of the late Charles Curtis Loy and Elda (Winland) Loy Ritchie.
She was a devoted wife for sixty years, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed caring for her cats, exploring flea markets and listening to her granddaughter sing and play music.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, David, Donald “Donnie” and Roger Loy.
Surviving is her husband, Ross Schoonover; two sons, Mike (Cathy) Schoonover and Ronnie (Tammy Minor) Schoonover; granddaughter, Jessica Schoonover and brother, Charles Scott Loy.
Friends received noon until time of service at 2 p.m., Thursday, September 21, 2023, at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville with Rick Tincher officiating. Burial to follow in Sardis Cemetery.
