Obituary for Lynda Ellen Wade Edgar (Hornbeck)
Lynda Ellen (Hornbeck) Wade Edgar, 72, of New Martinsville, WV formerly of Reader, WV died suddenly Saturday, August 13, 2016 while at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Lynda was born March 30, 1944 in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of the late Kenneth and Irene (Flinn) Hornbeck.
She was a retired bus operator for Wetzel County Schools and she loved her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Catherine Hornbeck and canine, Ms. Daisy.
Surviving are her four children, Roger (Diana) Wade, Rodney (Talisa) Wade, Dawn (Tim) Greathouse and Missy (Brent) Whipkey; eight grandchildren, Molly Ann (Gary) Thompson, Joseph Scott (Erica) Wade, Derrick Keith (Amber) Wade, Tella Dawn (Justin) Craft, Lyndsay Rae (Jeff) Boley, Casey Lynn (Wes) Greathouse, Dylan Kristian (Telah) King and Dubale Wade Greathouse; five great grandchildren, Emma Faith King, Isabella Grace Coolbaugh, Jacob Keith Wade, Hattie Virginia Thompson and Benaiah Ernest Craft; four siblings, Donzel (JoAnn) Hornbeck, Sonda Cecil, Keith Hornbeck and Joe (Pam) Hornbeck; canine, Lilly and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville.
Interment in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings, WV at the convenience of the family.
