Obituary for Shirley Ann Durig (Rine)
Shirley Ann Durig, 80, of New Martinsville, WV died Saturday, April 29, 2017 while at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Shirley was born August 28, 1936 in Maude Post Office, WV; daughter of the late Foster Thomas and Delia (Lemasters) Rine.
She was a homemaker, graduate of Magnolia High School Class of 1954, loved quilting and member of the Mt. Joy Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Ilene (Jim) Haudenschilt and brother-in-law, “Junior” Wells Mason.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur Durig; four sons, David (Bonnie) Durig of New Martinsville, WV, Neal (Susan) Durig of Dallas, WV, Kevin (Kathie) Durig and Daniel (Rhonda) Durig both of New Martinsville, WV; daughter, Patricia (Jeff) Taylor of Moundsville, WV; sister, Genelda Mason of New Martinsville, WV; six grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Shirley’s request there will be a graveside service at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in New Martinsville.
