Thomas, Patrick M., 88, of New Martinsville, WV passed away at home Tuesday, May 14, 2013.

Pat was born March 18, 1925 in New Martinsville, WV son of the late Moses and Mary Younis Thomas.

He was a graduate of Magnolia High School and West Virginia University School of Pharmacy, a U.S. Navy veteran who served during WWII, founder and owner of the former Thomas Drug Store and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in New Martinsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Thomas, Josephine, Elizabeth and Barney Thomas.

Surviving are his wife of fifty years, Marilu Thomas; two sons, Joe Thomas and his wife, Tammy of Hurricane, WV and Chuck Thomas and his wife, Barbara of Fort Thomas, KY ; daughter, Suzy Broussard of Sulphur, LA; and his special grandchildren, Patrick Thomas, Jenna Thomas, Isabella Thomas, Abby Thomas, Jessica Broussard and Maureen Broussard; sister, Mary Louise Loehr and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of the memorial mass at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 21 Rosary Road with Rev. John P. McDonough as celebrant.

Interment in Northview Cemetery to be held at the convenience of the family.
