Martin "Skip" Ladd  Waggoner
Martin “Skip” Ladd Waggoner, 67, of Paden City, WV died peacefully at his home Saturday, August 11, 2018 while surrounded by his family.

Martin was born October 9, 1950 in Thermopolis, WY; son of the late Herbert and Meryl (Rice) Waggoner.

He was a retired Master Sgt. for the U.S. Army with twenty-four years of service, he loved reading, spending time with his grandbabies, fishing and traveling and he attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Lonnie Waggoner and infant brother, Victor Waggoner.

Surviving are his wife of twenty-five years, Sjoukja (Campbell) Waggoner; son, Christopher (Jennifer) Waggoner of Cottonwood, AL; three daughters, Patty (Keith) Gamber of Taylor, AL, Rosaline (James Cusick, Jr.) Miles of Paden City, WV and Tiffany (William) Carney-Truhan of McMechen, WV; sister, Vickie (Cliff) Brown of Colorado; sixteen grandchildren, Danny, Megan, Lenora, Maddie, Harrison, Greyson, Nadia, Justice, Tyler, Anna, Castiel, Noah, Emma, Faith, Nicolas and Billy.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City, where service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018. Interment to be held at the convenience of the family. The Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Martin’s name, to Paden City Public Library, 114 S Fourth Ave., Paden City, WV 26159.
