To those who are missing my friend Wayne; May the lord help you all to remember the many memories you may have. These memories are what insures Wayne will always be with us. My memories are countless but, One that sticks out with me is hunting on my farm in Tyler county. We had hunted all season long; never seeing a single buck during "Bucks Only" season. All we saw were does. He came back out and hunted with me on the last day of the doe season. We went up to get on stand and waited for hours and it looked like the season was over, but. Just before the end of legal shooting light a fat doe stepped out of the woods into the field where Wayne was waiting. I watched him from the hillside above and he raised his gun and fired and dropped the doe in her tracks. He said rather loudly, "Hah! that 'll teach ya." We laughed and laughed, and he said, "Now we'll have Jerky, by God." I also remember the many times we'd leave work early just to go fox hunting. Those were good times. May you all be comforted by your memories and the strength you can only get from the lord.
