Dear Mary - What a delight it's been to know you and to work with you these past twenty years. You were always honest and direct - able to communicate your thoughts and feelings with lucidity and, often, a quick wit. Your strong sense of right and wrong and your commitment to finding – and bringing – justice to situations where it was missing were clear from our first meeting on. You were a smart, savvy and informed investor, prudent and disciplined with finances, and very focused and generous in your philanthropy and desire to help others. You did not “suffer fools gladly” and always kept us on our toes. We loved all those qualities about you! We will miss you, but we look forward to continuing to work with your daughter, Marcella, to whom you passed down so many of those gifts of mind and spirit.
